#125 Repurposed Items Make Activity Center

So, we are on a vacation and traveled with limited items so that we only had carry-ons. But what do you do with an infant that still does most of his playing while on his back? You turn a broom & 2 chairs and a couple of toys attached to linky rings and you have an activity center. You can even do this if you don't want to invest in one for your home. Just make sure to watch older children around it because they may want to crawl on it and you want to make sure no one gets hurt.

#123 Re-purpose Football Jersey into Pillow

My mom took an old high school football jersey (my dad & brother wore the same number in high school, so she re-purposed an old jersey of my brother's into a gift for my dad). Maybe she will comment on here where she got her idea from, but basically she took this old football jersey and made it into a pillow with two pockets in it that my dad can put his remote controls in so that he has some place to put them so they no longer go missing.

#122 Tool Pouch Made From RePurposed Materials

My mom made this roll-up tool pouch for my husband. She made this custom because he wanted it a certain style with specific features. Kudos to her for reusing items for the canvas & denim material.

You can certainly spend $20 and buy one of these pouches, but you won't get all the slots & the pockets you want. And the plastic and thin canvas store bought ones are made of won't last as long.
