This will be a wonderful after school snack too or mid-afternoon pick me up!
If you wanted to clean up this recipe more, you could omit the chocolate chips and use nuts (chopped almonds would be great) or coconut instead.
Stuffed Apple Rings
- 1/4 cup nut butter (peanut, cashew, almond, soy)
- 1-1/2 teaspoons honey
- 1/2 cup miniature carob or dark chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 4 medium unpeeled apples, cored
