Try It Tuesday: Paper Plate Bug Craft

This is a pretty easy craft for little ones, and another in my long list of ideas of paper plate crafts. The above picture is the finished project that my son made.

First I gathered a variety of supplies: colored paper plate, googly eyes, glue, pipe cleaners, a hole puncher and some pipe cleaners.

I had him help me punch the holes in the plate and then let him string both ends of the pipe cleaner through the holes. Then I let him glue in to place all the pom poms, googly eyes and pipe cleaner mouth.

You could use a white paper plate and have them paint or color on it.
