When I told my daughter we would be receiving Bo-Po nail polish for review, she was super excited. She kept asking me for days if it has been delivered or not. Finally it arrived. We were sent a 2-pack (giveaway at the bottom and will get the same two pack) that included Polish Tints of Cotton Candy and Pinkie Swear. There is another tint polish called Sweet Dreams that is a green sparkle. They offer 7 solid color nail polishes that you can find all on their website. They have 10 color choices in all. They also make lip balms in 2 choices: ice cream or mango.
Do you remember the paint and peel nail polish from the 80's? I am an 80's child and I certainly do, my mom never bought me any but I had friends that had it. I have to admit that I was pretty excited to be reviewing Bo-Po nail polish as well, since I always wanted to have it but never did until now. The picture above is of my daughter painting her nails in pinkie swear (she says they call it a pinkie promise but I had to educate her that back int he 80s we called it a pinkie swear.) Below you can see what one coat of Cotton Candy looks like on my nails.
I first painted on one coat of Bo-Po nail polish and found that it did not peel as well. Below you will see pictures of me peeling it off after applying 2 coats. 2 coats seems to be the key to a quality peel-off polish. I really like the tint colors. They are fun without being over powering. They look much brighter in the bottles but because they are a sparkly tint they dry much lighter.
The picture above is of my daughter's hand with one coat of Bo-Po nail polish Pinkie Swear. It is not too noticeable, so I would apply this over the top of something else. She put a 2nd coat on but used the cotton candy color so then she ended up having a purple tint on her nails and she really liked that.
The bottom 2 pictures you can see how it easily peels off and you can peel it off as a whole piece. I love that I do not have to give my daughter remover to use this product and she can easily change her polish on a whim. In fact, peeling off the polish is quite fun and you might want to paint them just to peel it off.
Other things I love about this polish is that is is nontoxic without harsh smelling ingredients. And it dries super fast, which is great for kids who don't have patience to sit there for too long.

I always tend to stick to blush pinks or nudes for myself, but my daughter loves to rock the fuschia & hot pinks.
ReplyDeleteI love the pink one - wish they had this when I was little, you could never get ours off. Wasn't it full of lead years ago? Thanks for the info on this, might try it myself! :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow I never seen polish like this before. That's pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like fun. I love that you can just peel it off.
ReplyDeleteMy girls are not at the age we agreed for nail polish yet, but it looks like I know where we will start when it's time.
ReplyDeleteI never even heard of peel off nail polish! It sounds awful good to me especially for my toenails which can hold a color until I decide to remove it using 1/2 the bottle of remover!
ReplyDeleteI like the grape soda :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a child of the 80's too....but I wasn't allowed to have make up...looks very cool. I know Miss Molly would enjoy the OMG! Red
