When the Surprise Ride arrived in the mail, my son didn't want to wait for his sister to get home to look through it and starting exploring and learning. Even though the box is geared for 6-11 year olds, which I do this is a good range, it was also good for my 5 year old with some assistance. He was very excited to open the box and get first pick of what he got to do. Luckily, my kids often are drawn to different things so they pick out things the other wouldn't pick first. Plus, I was amazed that my son actually verbalized that he thought my 8 year old daughter would like something better so he was leaving it for her.
Even the colors of the box get your excited to open it up and see what it is in there. The design and colors make it seem like a wrapped present (which is a surprise!)
Here is another picture of all the items laid out. As you can see in the picture below, the surprise ride included 2 projects (which meant one for each of the kids - you can see the results on later pictures) and five other extra items that included a snack, a book, a solar toy, a pack of seeds and a spray bottle. The theme of this Surprise Ride Subscription Box was "Green Thumb". The theme of any box is a SURPRISE! So, until you open it, only your imagination can begin to figure out what might be inside.
Product Description from Surprise Ride:
Surprise Ride is a subscription service that sends kids ages 6-11 fun and educational hands-on activities that foster creativity and imagination! The company was started by two sisters Donna and Rosy, and they have been working hard to create a lasting impact on the lives of children, beyond the latest toys or technologies.
Our company is continuing to expand, gathering publicity on various platforms and facilitating exciting partnerships. We were featured on Shark Tank in November. We also recently partnered with award-winning country music star Sara Evans and Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® to develop an activity box full of nutritious recipes and engaging crafts that makes it easier than ever to spend quality time with your kids. This exciting partnership was featured on The View this May.

ReplyDeleteI love that the projects are engaging and fun for longer than just the time spent putting them together. They keep up with the plant, they get to enjoy the windchime. It isn't just something to make, then struggle to find a spot for, lol. We do a lot of crafts, and I struggle with that aspect.
