Make It Monday: S'mores Oatmeal
The idea for this came from my daughter, who admittedly is kinda sugar crazed. It's a yummy idea and they gobble up their oatmeal. August 10th is National S'more Day, so why not try it then, or check out Northern Cheapskate in early August for my post on 12 different ideas for S'mores.
S'mores Oatmeal Recipe
1/2 Quick-Cooking Oatmeal
1 C Water
1 T Chocolate Chips
1 T Mini Marshmallows
1/4 Sheet of Graham Crackers, crumbled
Directions: Stir oatmeal and water together in a bowl that is twice as large as the contents. Microwave for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes. After cooking, top with chocolate chips, mini marshmallows & graham crackers. Enjoy!

Looks so good for a surprise sweet treat for the kids!
Chelle @ Oh, just stop already
Oatmeal is one of my favorite foods, I eat it for breakfast and snacks in the middle of the day or night. I'm not sure I would be fond of marshmallows in my oatmeal but I know a couple of little girls that might actually eat their breakfast if I were to use this recipe, thanks for the idea :)
Oh this sounds righteously delicious :) and I bet you if you stir the marshmellows in when it's warm, they melt! Oh wow, I am getting excited for national smores day already :)
