Review: Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel

I had the opportunity to review the new Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel this past week. This DVD features a special episode where the worlds of Phineas and Ferb collide with the Marvel Super Heroes. The episode is a team up of Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk with Phineas and Ferb. Each DVD also comes with a FREE collectible comic book inside the case as well as a FREE Exclusive Mission Marvel poster. I didn't think my daughter would be interested in those things but she claimed them before my son even saw them. The picture to the top is of the poster we received. There are three different poster styles that are randomly placed in each DVD. Another posted style if pictured below.

The DVD features 145 minutes of content that include the Mission Marvel episode, as well as 6 other episodes:

  • Fly on the Wall
  • Sidetracked (Part 1 and 2)
  • Primal Perry (Part 1 and 2)
  • Backyard Hodge Podge
  • Where's Pinky
  • Knot My Problem/ Mind Share
The video is rated G and has the language choices of English, French and Spanish.
This episode was first aired this summer on the Disney Channel, but as of October 1st you can now own the video. As of the time of this post it was $13.99 on Amazon, but prices fluctuate on their website.

My son really enjoys this DVD. He watched the Mission Marvel episode 3 times on the first day we had it. He has asked to watch it the last 2 days as well. He is making his way through all of the episodes. This DVD is well on it's way to being frequently played.

I received this DVD for the purpose of reviewing it on my blog. No monetary compensation was received. All thoughts and options expressed are my own.
