Fitness Friday: RACES Board on Pinterest
I decided there were too many races to keep track of in my head that a Races Pinterest Board was necessary so that I could see them all in one spot. So, some of these are local one, but others are national races that hold race events in different locations. Check out my board and follow me! You might find I post a race you are interested in or one that you could tell someone else about.
I did try to post in the text part of the pin the date and location of the race. Then in the comments I wrote if I was registered or if this race was one I completed. I have both kids races and adult races on here because my daughter has asked if she can do a couple of them with me this summer. We are doing the Mankato Zombie Run together (that pin is on there) and my husband & I are doing the Gorilla Fun Run.
Also on there is the Wild Irish Run that I did with my friend Carrie and the Insane Inflatable 5K (this one has nationwide locations!) is on there as well and I just registered for that as well.
Last year I did my 2 half marathons and was working on speed in my 5Ks. This year I think I am just all about having fun! But I do want to throw in a long bike race in there, hopefully. Bike races are on here too!
Good idea!! I need to do this too!
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome idea! I already pin to pinterest to keep track of things.

Never thought of using Pinterest as a 'calendar'. Hmm...
ReplyDeleteOooh! Thanks. I was checking out this board and it looks like you have some races on here that are national too, so you don't have to be in MN to find races here.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome idea.
ReplyDeleteI have used Pinterest Boards to organize-I think that's why there is Pinterest. That is such a good idea for runs-I hear about them then forget about them!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!My son and I love to do races.
ReplyDeletePinterest is such a handy tool!
ReplyDeletegreat idea - but i first have to be able to run a block without getting out of breath..... :D
ReplyDeleteOh cool...and I bet that would motivate others. I think the graphic for the Bacon Chase is toooo cute.
