Each Day Too Short...

I can't believe how fast summer has gone by. I know I had many more things I wanted to do and time has just escaped me. I love to experience my life and everything it has to offer. I have been trying to really reflect this summer on doing things that will result in some happiness and letting go of the things that take time away from pursuing. It is relationships and devoting time to those relationships that make me happy.

As you have probably have noticed, this summer my posts on this blog have been fewer and I have done a very limited number of reviews. I have decided I need to be very selective and evaluate whether I really need something or it will be something that will enhance my happiness through experiences within relationships. I don't want to own things just to collect them and so I have learned to do some letting go of this aspect of my blog. There still may be some, but I am being very selective. I have also decided to get back to more of why I started this blog,which is to empower and teach people. I blog because it makes me feel good to share with others, but it had become a chore and caused distress that I was putting upon myself. I don't need to see certain number in stats, I am releasing myself from that as well.

I am making time for the things that matter to me by releasing myself from those things that really do not and it is a journey to recognize which is which.

This is a picture I took on my last anniversary weekend with my husband when we went to the cabin and went on a guided muskie fishing trip in Northern Minnesota.

Those Who Inspire....

This is a photo I took from our balcony at the Vero Beach Hotel and Spa in Florida. We had a wonderful time that that resort and would highly recommend it. Vero Beach is absolutely gorgeous!

Where Music Meets the Ocean...

This picture is a long-time favorite of mine, but by long-time I mean it will be a long-time. :) As I only took this picture of my son running in the ocean on Vero Beach, Florida about a year and a half ago. There is just something so innocent about this picture that I love.

Sometimes....

Another Oregon coast pictures........we have just returned from seeing the Washington and Canadian (Vancouver) coast area so I will have pictures to share with you from there soon, but this one is from last summer. I thought it was just awesome to see the fog lifting this late morning at the beach.

Those Who Matter......

This picture was taken of the Harbor Seals in Newport, Oregon. I just thought they looked so beautiful lying together bathing in the sun with each other.

Perfect Moments....

This is a picture I took last year of the Latourell Falls, which is about 25 miles outside of Portland, Oregon and can be seen along the Historic Columbia River Highway. It is definitely worth the drive to check out all the beautiful waterfalls along this route.

Beautiful Discovery...

This photo is from another (different beach) on the Oregon coast. The figures in this photo are of my children and one of my deepest wish for them to grow up as friends, even though they are such individuals in their own right and may take different paths in life. I hope they will always be friends as well as siblings.

I made this one for a dear friend that I just have this special connection with that we can be apart for so long and when we have the opportunity to talk or see each other it is as no time has passed and we quickly catch up with how our separate lives have lead us on this life adventure.

Who They Are.....

This picture I took last summer on the Oregon coast. I wish I could tell you wish beach we were on, but it's been a year and we had been to several beaches on that trip that it could have been any of them. It is truly a beautiful area if you have the chance to visit.

Rare People......

I decided I wanted to make up some of my own friendship quote memes to share with friend this summer. I want them to know I am thinking of them and that I love them. I wanted to them to be more meaningful than just pasting in ones that someone else has already made up, so I am making up my own with pictures I have taken.
