Look what Lowe's is offering up on December 3rd for their next Build & Grow!

Kids will have the opportunity to build 2 wooden picture ornaments with an adult. This will fill up fast. I noticed that Lowe's is not holding these Build and Grow events very often anymore. I saw a sign at our closest Lowe's that looks like the next one (after this) won't be until February. So, it looks like they are only doing there every other month now.

This would make a cute gift for your kids to give someone.

Lowe's Build and Grow -- Pumpkin Carving Demonstration with FREE Pumpkin

This is for THIS SATURDAY! Registration just opened yesterday, but I guarantee you that spots will be filled fast. This is a picture of the sign I took at my local Lowe's and it says that each child will gt a FREE mini pumpkin and sticker sheet. Plus you get to watch a pumpkin carving demonstration using a Dremel Pumpkin Carving Kit (perhaps they will give a coupon for those kits). We are already signed up and I am very interested in seeing how we can making carving pumpkins easier!

FREE Lowe's Build and Grow Captain America on June 11

Here is this summer's first FREE Lowe's Build and Grow!

Registration opened yesterday, so don't delay in signing up. Your little super heroes will love to make their own super hero to display in their room and help decorate their bedroom. 

I have signed up my son to do this with his dad while I am at a swim meet with my daughter. It is always a good time for the kids to get one on one time with one of us.

This Build and Grow is at 10am on June 11th.

Lowes Build & Grow -- Chalkboard Planter

Isn't this a nice idea for a Lowe's Build and Grow -- a Chalkboard Planter. My son was bummed I saw the flier that came home with him from his last Build and Grow that told about this one. The idea is to make this as a Mother's Day present, which is why he was bummed because it was supposed to be a surprise for me. I will have to pretend that I forgot about it. :)

Anyways, this one is going to be different than how they did then in the past. Usually they are on Saturday mornings, but this time it will be on a THURSDAY EVENING!

This Build and Grow will be on Thursday, May 5th at 7pm. Sign up began a couple days ago, so do not delay and GET REGISTERED TODAY!

Lowe's Build & Grow - Kids Make a FREE Bird Feeder this Weekend

This bird feeder is just lovely! My son is already signed up and excited to go build it with his dad. It is THIS WEEKEND! Check the registration page to see if there are still spots available near you. When I checked yesterday, there was still 12 spots at the store nearest us.

I told my son he can pick to hang it up at home or at the cabin. I am not sure what he will pick.

Next up in the Lowe's Build and Grow Monster Jam Series is "Blue Thunder". This event is happening this Saturday at 10am at your nearest Lowe's. These events do fill up fast, so you need to pre-register to guarantee a spot.

FREE Lowe's Build & Grow: Firetruck

This month you get to build a Firetruck at Lowe's. My children have each built ones similar to this one in the past, so we will skip this one, but if you want to get in on this FREE activity for your children you better register asap, as these can fill up fast.

Our local Lowe's has worked with fire department in that city and they have been on site the past few years when they do this Build & Grow. I can't promise that each one does this, but there might be more to do than just build something, possibly even including a firetruck and meeting firemen.

FREE Lowe's Build and Grow - Thor's Chariot

This is the final Avenger's Build and Grow Clinic at Lowe's. It is Thor's Chariot. My son has been working hard at making the previous 5 and has all his creations lined up on his dresser and has his patches all ready to be ironed on a t-shirt we bought. I will have to share you the final line up of all the wooden Avengers toys and his fun t-shirt with all his patches on.

This Lowe's Build and Grow will be at 10am on Saturday, August 22nd.

FREE Lowe's Build and Grow: Hulk's Tank

This, Hulk's Tank, is the FIFTH Avengers Lowe's Build and Grow. These have been quite popular! Even if your child hasn't done the previous ones, you can't pass this one up. It's the Hulk! There will be one more left to complete the set of 6. The last one will be the Thor's Chariot!

This Lowe's Build and Grow will be at 10am on Saturday, August 8th.

FREE Lowe's Build & Grow - Hawkeye's Quinjet

My son has been so excited about these free Build and Grow's and Lowe's. After we finished completing the second one we realized that all the badges (all 6 of them) form a complete circle. We have a t-shirt already purchased so we can iron them all on when he is finished. I am sure he is going to feel pretty proud of that when he wears it to school.

The platforms all line up together to make one big Avengers logo. He already has the first three lined up on his dresser. This next one is the Hawkeye Quinjet.

They are doing a super hero theme this summer and you missed out on Iron Man and Captain America, but this next one on July 11, 2015 is for the Black Widow Sky Cycle. Sign up quick! How cute it this?!?!?! It's the See-It Planter at the next Lowe's Build and Grow. Registration opened on March 16th, so don't delay in getting signed up. This Build and Grow will occur on Saturday, April 11th at 10am, Spots to fill up fast.

My daughter built a similar one when she was in preschool and because it unfinished wood, it will rot away over the course of the growing season. It will cool to watch plants growing, but I just wanted to give you a heads up that this will eventually probably not hold up from one year to the next.

Lowe's Build and Grow Clinics are holding 2 clinics, 2 weeks apart to build the above Monster Jam Trucks. There is still one more to sign up for!

The first one was for the Max-D truck (the black one) on February 28th, so you have already missed that one. :(

The second one is for the Toro Loco truck and registration opened for that one on March 2nd.This Build and Grow will be on March 16th.

We have been to Monster Jam TWICE! It's a fun experience. We even have a picture of the Toro Loco Truck, as well as the kids in front of a bunch of other trucks. Here is even more pictures from our Second Monster Jam excursion.

Lowes Build & Grow: Sweetheart Picture Holder

Registration Opened on Monday for the next Lowe's Build & Grow Clinic. This time they can build a Sweetheart Picture Holder on Valentine's Day. So, if you were looking for a FREE and FUN activity to do with your kids on Valentine's Day, this just might be the perfect thing.

Spots go quickly, so sign up right away. I have noticed that Lowe's seems to only be doing one project a month now, so keep your eyes peeled for the next one.
