My first half marathon (yes, I do hope to do another!) was the Rock the Parkway Half Marathon in Kansas City, MO. I did it with two great runner friends and it was a positive and fun experience all rolled in to a girls weekend.

Congrats on your first half marathon! Looks like you had a good time. I don't run unless I'm being chased but my 14 yoa son is very much into it and often participates in 5K runs.
I wish I could do this one day. Unfortunately the arthritis in my knees will not allow it. I'll just cheer you on, and my youngest daughter who also has taken up marathons as a hobby!
