It's Memorial Day and if you haven't already started grilling outside, this might be the first day you do. And hidden in your ketchup you might be topping your grilled burgers and veggie burgers with is white sugar or high fructose corn syrup. It is easy to make, so why not give it a shot. I think you will be pleased with this tangy and savory variety.
Sugar Free Ketchup Recipe
2 6oz can of tomato paste
1 8oz can of tomato sauce
2/3 C apple cider vinegar
2 tsp celery salt
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cloves
Directions: Blend all ingredients together in a sauce pan. Bring to a simmer and cover. Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Cool and store in the fridge. Enjoy!
