Make It Monday: Turkey, Quinoa & Black Bean Burgers
These are just delicious and the addition of quinoa and black bean to ground turkey helps keep the protein amped up and adds a ton of fiber and keeps the fat down and adds a ton of flavor and texture. They are delicious!
Turkey, Quinoa and Black Bean Burger
1 pound of ground turkey
3/4 C black beans, mashed
3/4 C quinoa, cooked
1/2 C carrots, cooked and mashed
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 egg white
Directions: Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix together until well combined. Shape in to 6 burgers. Grill and serve on your favorite roll or lettuce wrap and top with your favorite veggies and condiments, including Clean Eating Sugar Free Ketchup! Enjoy!
