Looking for ideas to save some money while saving a little bit of the Earth for future generations?
Then let this crafty mom of two help you become a little bit greener!
The hairy looking strawberries are Rambutan and the throny looking thing is Kiwano.
We did try both of those. My kids did not like the seedy texture of the Kiwano, but we all liked the Rambutan. The Rambtan has kind of peeled grape texture and taste to it.
I did give away the Ghost Chilies to a friend that liked very intense heat and apparently had no regard for his intenstines. We have yet to try the black garlic.
We had some of those funny shaped fruits when we were in Laos & Cambodia last month - very tasty! Don't think I'd be brave enough to try the chillies, though :)
Wow!! What are you going to do with the ghost chilies? I would not even breathe the air around them when you open the package. Yikes! You are made of strong stuff. kristiedonelson(at)gmail(dot)com Thank you.

Your friend sounds like my husband. If he doesn't cry when he eats something spicy, it's not HOT enough for him!
