This Lightning Cable to USB Cord Charger from Wusic Tech works just as you would expect it to. In the picture below you can see how I have it plugged in to the iPad on one end and the outlet charger on the other end. Because the usb is there I can also plug it in to the charger in my car so that I can charge things on the way.

that looks pretty sturdy. my daughter had to replace her cord and they are expensive. I lost mine some how. not a good week for chargers. I like this one since it looks durable.
