GIVEAWAY and Review- "Why Do We Call It Christmas?" DVD

If your kids are asking you a lot of questions about Christmas and why we have certain symbols? Or maybe you are struggling with all the commercial aspects of the holidays and want them to understand the historical and religious significance of Christmas symbols such as the Christmas Tree, Santa/ St. Nick, Christmas Stocking, Gold Coins (Chocolate now) and Gold Balls (oranges) and more? Then you need to check out the new DVD from Buck Denver called "Why Do We Call It Christmas?"

I watched this DVD with my kids from start to finish because I was very interested in learning more about all these questions. My daughter said she really liked all the facts. I was really happy that this DVD tied together St. Nick and Santa. In the area I grew up in Wisconsin, St. Nick's Day was recognized and I recognize it my children, but it is not widely recognized in this area of Minnesota that we live in and they have never heard them tied together like this before (except by me).

The significance of the symbol of the Christmas tree was something I didn't know before and I am glad I can share that information with my children. I really want to tell you what everything means, but I would rather you watch this Christmas DVD with your children and learn about all these deeply rooted symbols in Christianity.
