Clean Eating Pizza

You can't tell me this doesn't look absolutely delicious! This is after is was baked/
To make my pizza I used the pizza dough recipe from Clean Eating magazine, topped it with a small amount of spaghetti sauce, added a ton of toppings (red onion, green onion, tomatoes, zucchini, mushrooms, black olives, garlic, cilantro, spinach, prosciutto, and sprinkling of asagio and parmesan cheeses (hard Italian cheeses pack a punch of flavor in such a small amount.)
Before I put it in the oven.

Jessica, this pizza looks YUMMY -- LOVE your choice of toppings. and your blog just answered a question for me -- you CAN use spaghetti sauce instead of pizza sauce when making pizzas! Lol i'm one of those lazy consumers who goes by what the market says. if one says 'pizza sauce' and the other says 'spaghetti sauce,' then CLEARLY each dish has its own, discintive sauce. Thanks for clearing that up! :-)

That’s a healthy and yummy looking pizza you got there! The best thing about cooking your own pizza is you get to control the salt and the fat content without sacrificing the flavor. Your choice of toppings is very good, and I bet vegetarians would love it!

Right, the best way to eat pizza is to pile it up with vegetables so you can do away with the guilt. It's never wrong to treat yourself with these yummy bites often, for as long as you counter it with delicious veggies that will complement it and add more flavor.
