Today the new album by JJ Heller titled "LOVED" has been released and I have had the opportunity to review this album and the video below for "Who You Are".
My Thoughts
This song and video is so incredibly beautiful and powerful. After I watched the video for the first time and learned about what the song is about, I can't listen to it with tearing up. I cannot imagine losing a child; I do not want to imagine losing a child. But people do and the world around them continue when their's has stopped or stalled. I can't even type up my thoughts here without having my eyes welled up with tears.
With song titles such as "Who You Are", "I Believe", "Stay", "For You" and more, you know that this is going to be an emotional CD that will touch hearts. These songs are going to be a sense of relief to people who think they are alone in their emotions and know that someone else feels the same way.

About JJ Heller's LOVED
When JJ Heller and her husband/co-writer, Dave, began writing for their sixth studio album LOVED, life looked a few shades darker, more painful and confusing than it had during the work on their work of the recent past. Over the past few years, the duo steered much of their material toward the whimsical and simple joys of life, love and new parenthood. But, when confronted by illness, death and broken marriages within their community, the Hellers chose to stay true to the weight of their season of life when crafting lyrics this time around.

I loved the song! The line "I don't know what you're doing, but I know who you are" gave me goose bumps. Such a great reminder that in the midst of difficult times, we can remember that our God is GOOD and he LOVES us and never leaves us. Thanks for sharing!!

Definitely love the words, her voice and just her music.
I really liked the part where she talks about the man losing his daughter. That really reminded me of when my brother passed. Not many people do know what its like to lose a child, sadly my mom does.
