Slow Cooker Saturday: Healthy Peanut Butter Brownies




Slow Cooker Healthy Peanut Butter Brownies
1 C black beans, pureed
1/2 C apple sauce
2 extra ripe bananas, pureed
1/2 C natural peanut butter
4 T honey
2 T ground flax seed
1/2 C unsweetened cocoa
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 C old fashioned oats, pulverized
1 T cinnamon

Directions:

  • Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray
  • Pureed, grind and pulverize ingredients as directed above
  • Combine all ingredients in a mixer and mix until blended
  • Pour in to a slow cooker and turn on LOW
  • Cook on low for 6 hours
  • Enjoy!
We served ours with a scoop of fat free chocolate frozen yogurt.

Wow! Peanut butter brownies is something my husband would be all over. Chocolate and peanut butter are two of his favorite things and making this in a crockpot! Cool! I love using my crockpot!

My son loves Peanut Butter so these would be a definite treat for him. Also it looks easy enough for him to help me with too.

This is so perfect! My hubby is severely allergic to eggs, so I am always looking for ways to use bananas and applesauce instead. I am so making these!

I need to make this. I made black bean cake the other day but it had butter in it. I like that this does not.
