We have really been enjoying reviewing all the different flavors of Cheribundi Tart Cherry Refreshes and Tea Blends. We received a case (and so will one winner) before Christmas and it was so refreshing because it was a departure from all of the sweet and rich food we were eating through the season. My absolute favorite was the Cherry Pomegranate. It had the perfect balance of tartness and sweetness. The picture at the very bottom of the beverage in the glass is of the Cherry Pomegranate.
Tart cherries contain phytonutrients and anthocyanins and are a tasty super food! Cheribundi is also prooud to share that their beverages are used by 90 Professional and Division 1 Sports Teams!
If you like tart lemonades, then you really will want to try the Tart Cherry Lemonade. It really made me pucker, in a good way. I am not a fan of lemonade that are too sweet and this was not that at all.
The Tea Blends have really fit in perfectly with my renewed commitment to eat better after so many indulgences the last month. Each 16.9 oz. bottle contains 2 servings at 80 calories a servings (for the tea blends) and 80-100 calories a serving (for the refreshers.) These beverages do contain sugar but they each also contain 40 cherries per bottle in the refreshers and 5 cherries per bottle in the tea blends. The refreshers are 25% juice (the first ingredient is water) and the tea blends are 5% juice (again, the first ingredient is water).
In the pictures you see all the varieties that I was sent. In total there are 4 different varieties of the tea blends and 5 different varieties of the refreshers. The only variety that wasn't in my case to review was the Cherry Jasmine Tea Blend.
The tea is freshly brewed and the cherries are freshly pressed before making the beverages. The ingredients come from whole foods and not from a concentrate. Also, the beverages are gluten free as well as Certified OU kosher.
